About

We are LEGO Tronic,

a dynamic FLL robotics team who strives for excellence.

We are Gr6-7 learners from Fundamental Faculty in Three Rivers.

With notable achievements like winning the Robot Design trophy at the Gauteng Regional championship and securing 3rd place in the Core Value category at the SA championship, we are proud to have ranked 9th overall in South Africa and been invited to compete at the Open Africa Championship.

Innovation:

Problem: Tourist divers damage coral reefs.

Solution:

Use sonar sensors just like those used in submarines to send a "ping" to the metal piece in the diver's goggles to measure his distance from the reef. If he is too close there will be a warning signal. If too many warning signals were fired on one dive the Fauna and Flora will be notified.
